Agriculture
on the estate

At Dendric Estate, our orchard isn’t just where the cider begins—it’s what sets it apart. When you drink our cider, you’re tasting fruit grown at elevation, shaped by the climate and soil of our mountain estate. Experience a product that’s deeply connected to the land — real, traceable, and full of natural character. It’s a difference you can taste, and a place you can visit.

WHY IT MATTERS

Resilient Trees

Since our first planting in 2020, we’ve focused on finding apple varieties that truly belong here. Our trees need more than great fruit - they must handle drought, resist disease, and thrive through snowy winters and hot, dry summers. We choose only the varieties that flourish with minimal intervention, letting nature take the lead. The result is fruit - and cider - that tells the story of this rugged, beautiful place.

Pure Water

Our water begins as snowmelt in the high peaks of the Uinta Mountains, flowing through a network of alpine streams and lakes before reaching our orchard. The name Dendric honors these natural branching waterways - known as dendritic formations - that feed into the Weber River and sustain our land. This fresh, high-altitude water nourishes our trees through hot summers, allowing us to grow with care and respect for this precious mountain resource.

Rich Soil

The soil beneath our orchard directly shapes the flavor in your glass. Sandy, well-drained earth — enriched with clay and cobble from the Paulsin Basin — helps our trees grow deep roots and produce intensely flavorful fruit. We use only organic practices and foster biodiversity, from beneficial microbes underground to native plants and pollinators above. It’s part of our commitment to crafting cider that’s not only delicious, but deeply connected to the land it comes from.

OUR PROCESS

This is the science behind dry mountain cider.
