ABOUT
The Dendric Story
Our cidery officially opened in 2025,
but the the idea was planted long before.
We’re Brendan and Carly Coyle - deeply rooted in the mountains and inspired by everything they offer. Dendric Estate was born from our desire to connect the lifestyle we love with a product that reflects it: elegant, elevated cider grown and made at 6,440 feet. For us, it’s about more than great flavor - it’s about creating something that speaks to the land we live on and the way we choose to live. We invite you to join us on this journey, and experience what it means to drink deeply from a place.
With a Masters in Brewing and Distilling Sciences from Scotland, Brendan has been on the technical side of the beverage industry his whole career, first in brewing, then in the distilling industry as Master Distiller for High West Distillery (Park City, UT) & parent company Constellation Brands. On the other side of the estate, Carly manages marketing, finance and everything else that keeps Dendric running smoothly.
We believe great cider starts with healthy land, clean water, and a long-term mindset that respects the ecosystem we’re part of.
WATER CONSERVATION
With a strict irrigation plan and the use of locally harvested mulch to retain soil moisture, we manage our water thoughtfully and intentionally. We’re actively partnering with the State to recycle 100% of our filtered used water back into irrigating our orchard, ensuring every drop is put to good use.
SOIL HEALTH
We avoid synthetic inputs and focus on building natural, living soil through cover crops, compost, and organic matter that supports native pollinators and beneficial microbes. This continually promotes soil health & biodiversity.
MINIMAL INTERVENTION
Whether in the orchard or the cellar, we take a low-input approach—letting the fruit, soil, and season speak for themselves without over-manipulating the process.
We acquired our 20-acre estate in 2019 with a vision to create more than just a beverage—our goal was to craft a product truly rooted in place. Over the next four years, we immersed ourselves in understanding the land, carefully selecting soil management, trellis design, apple varieties, rootstocks, and irrigation methods. Every decision was guided by a commitment to connect our local community and showcase the natural beauty of our region to visitors through every bottle we make.
Cider fruit is rarely grown at this elevation. It's agriculture on the fringe, exactly where we like to be.
